Your future role
- Develop modern, resilient, and scalable microservices with Java 21 for the FinTech sector
- Take end-to-end responsibility for business-critical projects, including architectural and conceptual challenges, working closely with various teams and software engineers
- Apply Clean Code principles with comprehensive test coverage (unit, integration, E2E)
- Optimize performance and monitor payment services using Datadog and Grafana
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies to continuously enhance the backend landscape
- Support and coach junior team members through technical mentoring
Desired qualifications
- Several years of backend development experience in a dynamic environment
- Excellent knowledge of Java 21 and common frameworks such as Spring Boot or Micronaut
- Experience with both relational and non-relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Expertise in developing and maintaining high-performance REST APIs
- Hands-on experience with messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ in an event-driven microservices environment
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes as well as cloud technologies like AWS, Terraform, and Kubernetes
- Excellent command of English

Salary range
Between EUR 4,600 and EUR 6,000 gross/month (on full-time basis) according to qualifications and experience.
